The Bow Valley boot stomp festival kicked off on Friday, July 29 at the Cochrane & District AG Society grounds. The music festival is in town for both Friday, July 19, and Saturday, July 20th, 2024 for a weekend packed with music, dancing, food trucks, and local market vendors.
The festival on Friday included performances from country artists Alex Hughes, Brandon Lorenzo, and headliner Doc Walker.
After a brief, hour-long pause in performances due to rain and heavy thunderstorm, a crowd of resilient country fans returned from the AG society barn and flooded the dance floor for the final two performers.
