Cochrane’s largest Trade Show is returning for another year and thousands of people are expected to grace the show floor at the SLS Centre once again.
The annual Cochrane and District Chamber of Commerce Trade Show will run from May 3 to 4 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, at the SLS Centre. Attendance for the yearly show has increased year over year, and the Chamber of Commerce is expecting this years show to attract over 3,000 visitors.
The consumer show is the largest annual event in town, according to the Cochrane and District Chamber of Commerce, and this year will feature over 140 local exhibits ranging from home-based businesses to products and services offered at retail stores, landscape specialists, furniture and home decor, real estate, lawyers, home renovators, and builders.
Featured products will range from household appliances to real estate, clothing & accessories, recreational products, and much more. Services include financial planning, health & beauty, exercise & wellness, renovations, decor, and landscaping.
Various non-profit organizations will also showcase their talents and the ways they support the community at large.
It will be Cochranites chance to “shop, see, save, and get to know the local retailers and professional service companies in town, all in one convenient location.”
There is expected to be a SLS Play Zone, where families are welcome to participate in fun activities that also offers a convenient and safe drop-off service for parents to explore the Trade Show.
The show will have an interactive Bingo Card event where visitors collect stamps from various booths and can enter their completed cards for a chance to win prizes.
The Trade Show is also organizing its very first Money Tunnel, which will be up and running offering visitors a fun way to collect Trade Show Market Money to spend on the Trade Show floor.
Kids 12 and under get in free, while anyone 13 years and up require an admission of $3.00 a day.
