Hair of the Dog

The Cochrane and Area Humane Society’s Hair of the Dog fundraiser, which ran online from Nov. 20 – 27, was a resounding success this year. Midway through the event, Cochrane resident and Kendra Watt of Kendra Watt Realty Group, announced that she would be matching the donations raised during this year’s fundraiser. The inaugural online auction raised $12,000 for the shelter. With Watt’s generous offer, and a pervious donation the shelter received for $5,000 from the Kendra Watt Realty Group, Erol’s Automotive, Chew Chew Pediatric Dentistry, Global Pet Foods Cochrane and Royal Mechanical Services, the total raised for the shelter was $29,000.
