The Calgary Police Service has issued a Dangerous Person Alert for the City of Calgary and surrounding area in relation to the suspect believed to be involved in the double homicide that occurred on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024, in the communities of Kincora and Tuscany.
Police are searching for 38-year-old Benedict KAMINSKI. He is described as approximately, 6’ tall, with brown and grey hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a grey, red and white shirt.
Kaminski is believed to be travelling in a black 2022 Nissan Pathfinder with Alberta license plate CLN 5276.
Police believe Kaminski could be in northwest Calgary or near the Bearspaw area.
Residents in the communities of Bearspaw, Rocky Ridge, Tuscany and surrounding areas, are asked to be on the alert. Do not open the door to strangers and if you see the suspect do not approach and call 9-1-1 immediately.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024, the Calgary Homicide Unit responded to the 0 to 100 block of Kincora Grove N.W. for reports of a person in medical distress. Upon arrival, officers located a man in his 70s deceased.
As officers continued to investigate, a second victim, who is believed to be the deceased man’s daughter, a woman in her 30s, was located deceased in the 300 block of Tuscany Ridge Heights N.W., at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Dec. 29.
No arrests have been made at this time. Both autopsies are scheduled for Friday, Jan. 3, 2025.
