With a saddened heart we are announcing the passing of, Robert (Bob) James Renwick, born on August 11, 1936, in Regina, Saskatchewan. Bob passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday May 26th.
Bob was predeceased by his first grandson Zach and then his loving wife of 62 years, Shirley. Bob, is leaving behind his children, Jim (Mary), Ron (Cindy), Tony (Lisa), and Echo, his grandchildren Jordy, Montana, Jesse (Dani), Seth (Silene), Duncan (Jocelyn), Harvey, Miles, Tamara (Duncan), Brennan (Kristen), Kelsa, and great grand children Ila Rain, Rowan, Nora and close friend Elsie Ward; and numerous nephews and nieces, as well as Bob and Shirleys two dogs, Spook and Peanut.
Bob grew up on a farm in Milestone, Saskatchewan, where he met and married his beloved Shirley in 1956. They raised their family on the farm until 1978 when they moved to the Grease Creek Ranch in Water Valley, Alberta. Bob and Shirley cherished their years on the ranch, raising cattle and enjoying the serene countryside with their children.
Bob transitioned into a successful career, as a real estate agent in Cochrane, Alberta, where he sold numerous homes and made lasting connections in the community. A passionate golfer, Bob could often be found on the greens with Shirley, his sons, or any willing partner.
In 2011, Shirley suffered a debilitating stroke, and Bob dedicated himself to her care with unwavering love until her passing in 2018.
Bob's legacy of love, laughter, dedication, and passion for life will be cherished by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
