Cynthia (Cindy) Anne Bitter, born on January 5, 1959, passed on from this world on October 31, 2024, at the age of 65. Known for her fun and caring spirit, Cindy dedicated her life to her family, instilling love and warmth in all those fortunate enough to know her, especially beloved grandsons.
Cindy's career journey was diverse, with roles that showcased her commitment to serving others. She was a devoted homemaker and also worked as a waitress and back cook at local establishments including the Cochrane Dairy Queen and A&W. Throughout her career, she consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic and a genuine care for her customers and colleagues alike.
She enjoyed a wealth of hobbies that brought her joy and relaxation. Cindy had a passion for camping, fishing, and hunting, embracing the beauty of nature whenever she could. She also found delight in daytime soaps, often captivated by their thrilling plots and colorful characters.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband, Ted Bitter; her daughter, Christeen Anne Palmquist; and her son, Mathew D Palmquist. She was a cherished grandmother to Mason E Macdougall, Devin R Macdougall, C.J H Vance, Jacob S Palmquist, Jordon C Palmquist, Genesis M Barnes, and Marius T Barnes. Additionally, she is survived by her stepdaughters Beatrix B Bitter, Jackie H Bitter, and Andrea R Bitter.
Cindy was the daughter of Ethel Goldring, and she is also survived by her brothers, Eddie Goldring, Daniel Goldring, and Mike Goldring.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh "Sky" Goldring, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms.
Cindy's legacy of love, kindness, and joy will forever resonate within the hearts of her family and friends, leaving an indelible mark on their lives. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
