The Bow Valley High School (BVHS) Bobcats senior boys volleyball team is in Airdrie tonight for a Rocky View Sports Association division semifinal against George McDougall Mustangs. The Bobcats advanced to the Oct. 31 semi with a 3-0 (25-18; 25-19; 25-19) win over Chestermere in the Oct. 29 division quarterfinal at BVHS.
“We beat George Mac in our first game a month ago,” said Bobcats coach Eric Richard. “If the boys play well, it’ll give us a good chance to win.”
Springbank Community High School Phoenix, meanwhile, downed Cochrane Cobras 3-0 (25-19; 25-20; 25-17) Oct. 29 setting up tonight’s (Oct. 31) senior boys semi against the Bert Church Chargers in Airdrie.
In senior girls play, the Bow Valley Bobcats host their division semifinal, 7 p.m., Oct. 31.
