The SLS Centre has received a $25,000 grant from the Government of Alberta’s Every Kid Can Play Program to better help keep their programs adaptive, inclusive, and more accessible to families in Cochrane.
Through the grant, the SLS Centre can reduce the cost of registration for three of their key programs designed to support individuals of all abilities.
This includes:
Adaptive Aquatic Therapy, which will be $59 (formerly $159). The program provides therapeutic swim sessions to meet the unique needs of participants while enhancing mobility, strength, and their overall well being
SwimAbilities, which is now $39 (formerly $99). The swim program is designed to serve individuals with diverse needs, while offering a safe and supportive environment to build water skills.
All Abilities Multi-Sport which will be $40 (formerly $140). The program will introduce participants to various sports and activities to foster teamwork, skill0building, and physical activity.
Spaces are limited, so families are encouraged to register to secure their spot in these programs. The SLS Centre thanks the Government of Alberta for their support through their Every Kid Can Play Program.
