Environment Canada has issued another snowfall warning for the Foothills.
At 10:45 a.m. on April 2, Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for much of southern Alberta.
Heavy snow, with total amounts of 15 to 30 cm, is expected by Thursday afternoon over southwest Alberta.
Periods of light snow will transition to heavy snow later today for the central foothills, including the area from Nordegg to Sundre.
Tonight, the heaviest snow forecast to fall over the foothills to the west and southwest of the City of Calgary.
Calgary will see wet snow, with additional totals near 5 cm.
Snowfall will end Thursday morning along the foothills west of Calgary, and by Thursday evening near the Canada-U.S. border.
Environment Canada also issued a snowfall warning yesterday afternoon.
