As expansion and renovation work continues on Bow Valley High School, Rocky View Schools (RVS) provided an update on the current progress of the project.
The project is slated for completion in fall 2026, which will see the addition of 485 spaces for students in the school’s core building and common spaces, like the gym and learning commons, which will be updated.
RVS outlined that they are committed to keeping students and staff safe, while keeping disruptions to a minimum while work is underway.
To be a responsible and courteous neighbour, Rocky View Schools will communicate project updates to the community when they impact the surrounding area. Any concerns on the project can be shared by calling 310-0000, ask for Alberta Infrastructure, and leave a message.
While noise, dust, and other construction related issues are expected, RVS is working with contractors to minimize these as much as possible while keeping safety and comfort a priority for learning.
RVS wishes to thank everyone for their understanding and patients throughout this multi-year project. They are excited to enhance and expand their school and look forward to seeing the new space come to life. For more updates on construction progress, please visit bowvalley.rockyview.ab.ca.
