Supporters of The Frank Wills Memorial Hall celebrated its 25th anniversary in Cochrane with a special ceremony on Saturday, April 12. About three dozen supporters came out to the intimate affair which featured current and past board members, community supporters and members of the Cochrane Girl Guides and Boy Scouts.
An anniversary cake was served during the event, with a whole heap of nostalgia about the hall's origins, and the four decades-long effort to make the hall into the much-beloved gathering space it is today, on the side.
Guest speakers included board chair Margaret Peach, former board member Kathleen Wills, who spoke remotely from her current home in Georgia, Coun. Susan Flowers on behalf of the Town and community, and Scout Master Robert Craddock.
