The Care in the Creek Medical Centre is looking to expand its roster of patients.
With over 1,800 patients now registered with the new medical facility in Bragg Creek, Dr. Sara Wiesenberg and Dr. Les Cunning believe the centre and its staff are ready to take on more clients from the surrounding area.
Care in the Creek is inviting those who reside in the Cochrane and Springbank areas and do not currently have a family physician to contact the medical centre about becoming a patient.
Care in the Creek, along with its fundraising and community liaison partner, the Mountain Woods Health Service Board, opened its doors August 2012.
The facility plans to collaborate with the entire community of Bragg Creek in its effort to become ‘the healthiest community in Canada.’
Plans are to gather critical input from health and wellness practitioners who are either practising medicine locally or are residents of the Greater Bragg Creek area.
