It’s amazing what music can do for the soul.
Just ask Cochrane’s Michelle Owen. The first-ever contest winner of the Legacy Guitar House/Cochrane Eagle “Freebies” promotion, Owen was at the Eagle office Feb. 18 picking up a pair free tickets to the Oscar Lopez show.
“You made my day,” she said, clutching a pair of Lopez tickets for the Feb. 20 show at Cochrane’s Frank Wills Memorial Hall. “My day just got much better.”
Asked about her expectations for the show featuring the JUNO-winning Latin guitar virtuoso from Calgary (originally from Chile), Owen responded: “I’m just so pumped, I can hardly stand it.”
