2021 Rocky View County Council Election Coverage

Electorates have spoken in the municipal election and unofficial results reveal that Rocky View County (RVC) will swear in five incumbents and a couple new members to council.

The results are in from the 2021 municipal election for Rocky View County council. 

The Rocky View County (RVC) candidate list continues to fill up, as incumbent Kevin Hanson has announced he will seek another term as councillor.

Current Division 8 representative Samanntha Wright has announced she will seek another term as a Rocky View County (RVC) councillor

Rocky View County (RVC) Reeve Daniel Henn is running for re-election in this year’s municipal elections, set to take place on Oct. 18.

As Rocky View County inches closer to the 2021 municipal election on Oct. 18, current Division 2 [Springbank] councillor and Deputy Reeve Kim McKylor has announced she will run for re-election.

A long-time resident of northwest Rocky View County (RVC) is hoping to nab a seat in council chambers on October 18. Jolene Airth is the first candidate registered for RVC’s newly formed Division 3 seat in the upcoming municipal election.

Bragg Creek business owner Brent Moore hopes his entrepreneurial spirit and outgoing nature will land him a spot on Rocky View County (RVC) council next month.
