A highlight for January is the second session of Voice of the Pioneers on Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. Two old time pioneer ranchers, Brian Edge and David Copithorne, will speak on early ranching days in the Foothills. Photos will accompany their talks. A small cost of $5, $4 if you register by Jan. 28, will help to cover the cost of coffee and dessert tray. This will be a nostalgic evening for many and for others, new information on Cochrane area history.
The February highlight is a Big Band Valentine’s Dance complete with a 20 piece band. The dance takes place on Feb. 15 beginning at 7 p.m. This party is special so you are requested to dress appropriately — no jeans. Admission is $25 per person which covers band costs and snacks.
