Is the Town of Cochrane aware of all the high-density developments being proposed in the Cochrane Lake area?
Rocky View County approves high-density developments assuming Cochrane will be able to handle the impact to schools, recreation facilities, EMS, fire, police, and other essential services. Not to mention more traffic on roads, and here’s a biggie: assuming these RVC new developments can just tap into Cochrane’s water supply.
Is the Town of Cochrane okay with this? I would guess the residents of Cochrane are not in favour of these ill-conceived developments on their boundaries.
It would be helpful if the Town and its residents write RVC councillors to lend their voices of concern to prevent further high-density housing be approved in the Cochrane Lake/Horse Creek area.
