With Rheumatoid Arthritis, emphysema, osteoporosis, damaged retinas from RA drugs, lung cancer, one half collapsed lung, fluid on my lungs, and femur heads now showing signs of necrosis - surely I have earned the right to request the services of MAID when I feel the time has come.
This woman seems to feel that friends, and God, will be able to help me. I disagree. I will be calling on MAID when I see fit (unless I find some street grade fentanyl first. AND NO, I am not suicidal).
I am coping, for now, but will not end my days hooked up to machines.
