People walk along the pathway in Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park on a beautiful fall afternoon Sept. 30.

We have a newly paved and beautiful pathway through Glenbow. While walking the path to the River today, a cyclist sped past me and when I shouted slow down, he turned and shouted SHUT UP. We need some pathway rules. I suggest:

1. Maximum bike speed of 20km/hr.

2. One should bike very slowly past children’s playgrounds.

3. Every bike must have a bell

4. The bell must be used when approaching someone from behind.

5. One must slow down when passing.

This pathway is for sharing. We should all enjoy it together.
