Koodos to Cochrane Roads (and Council, of course) for finally putting up a much needed solar-powered Speed Limit Reminder sign on the West end of Riverview Drive.
We wonder when we will see one at the East end of Riverview. The speed limit is 30km both ways! We also wonder if this will be a permanent fixture as it is not yet cemented into place and could be moved any time. It seems to have slowed a lot speeders. Some cars still rush by at 50 or 60, so we would still be happy to see the busy Cochrane Peace Officers from time to time.
While they're at it, they could possibly write a few tickets for folks on electric bikes and scooters who often break the speed limit - not only on the street, but on the sidewalk too! Regardless, THANK YOU Cochrane Roads!
