Letter to the Editor: How Should Albertans Reflect on Trump Election?

Many Americans were proud to vote in their election last week. When quizzed on their decision, Trump voters said their top concern by far was inflation. Enough is enough they said. The theory put forward is that Danger Yam will save them from Sleepy Joe Biden's inflation.

Ok, let's work with that. No shame in having a theory.

Since almost the entire world (minus China, Japan and Switzerland) has experienced inflation worse than they have for the last four years, we certainly understand their frustration. Ok, let's start by reviewing the "Agenda 47" policies that were published by the Trump campaign. Hrmm, I see a lot of crazy [stuff] in there, but nothing really focused on inflation. Strangely, it looks like there is a proposed TAX ON ALL IMPORTED GOODS that would certainly throw some logs on the 'ol inflation fire (tariffs make things cost more).

You can't make this stuff up.

We all know Albertans are waaay smarter than Americans. We know it in our bones. When it's our turn to go to the polls, without a doubt (probably), we WILL take time to research and understand the important issues of the day before voting.. Right?
