NDP Jagmeet Singh, on separation from PM Trudeau, touts multiple financial silo benefits that have been achieved with Trudeau including rent control.

The Community Housing Program under Alberta Rental Assistance document states subsidized rental housing is provided to low-income families, seniors, and individuals with special needs - excludes youth, with 14.5 percent unemployment rate, and working age singles?

As evidenced by multiple financial silo programs targeting mostly families, politicians and families only care about their children while they are minors, seniors and to a lesser extent those with disabilities.  Taxpaying singles and youth as financial chattels are an alternate version of the “Handmaid's Tale” since they must always work, never face financial hardships or long haul illnesses while suffering human rights abuses and receiving less benefits.

Much research has been done on equivalence scales (MBM in Canada).  While there is no perfect system, evaluations show that if a one person household expenses equal 1.0, a two adult person household is approximately 1.4 and four person household including two children is 2.1.  It is time for living wages for all tax paying citizens.

Where are the human rights abuse class action suit lawyers?
