The annual Yelnats Cup U18 Midget Hockey Tournament took place at the SLS Centre between March 27 and March 30. A bittersweet moment for many of the midget players taking part, it often represents the official end of their minor hockey careers.
According to the Yelnats Cup website, graduating players are called to the ice after their last game to be recognized and presented with a keepsake of their minor hockey journey.
