The Cochrane and Area Humane Society (CAHS) announced in a Facebook post that the Wags and Whiskers Gala raised over $47,000 for the shelter.
The gala, which took place at the RancheHouse Nov. 6, was sold out.
In a Facebook post, CAHS also thanked the many business owners and supporters that reached out to donate to the live and silent auctions and everyone else that made contributions to the success of the event.
