Cochrane may be somewhat sunnier this weekend, but a strong hint of winter will still be clinging around the edges.
According to Environment Canada, on Friday overnight temperatures will plunge down to minus nine with a 60 per cent chance of flurries.
Saturday, however, should be mainly cloudy with 40 per cent chance of flurries and a low of minus 12 overnight. Saturday morning will begin with wind chill minus 17 with daytime temperatures rising to minus two in the afternoon
However, on Sunday, Mar. 16 the sun may finally prevail with a high of plus five degrees expected during the day.
