A laptop containing cherished photos of a Springbank couple’s deceased son was returned after it was stolen from a home on Oct. 18.
The laptop was dropped off at the McKenzie Towne Calgary Fire Department Monday morning.
The laptop contained photos of Matthew Bienert, who died in a plane crash while piloting tourists on Oct. 13, 2007.
Cochrane RCMP continue to ask for the public’s assistance, however, locating the suspects of the break and enter and have released updated descriptions and photos of the two males following new video surveillance footage of those in question in Calgary.
Cochrane RCMP responded to the incident at approximately 10:45 a.m. to find several valuables, both monetary and personal – Samsung LED TV, credit cards, Fender Jazzmaster guitar, Apple iPad – taken from the residence by two male suspects.
New images of the suspects were obtained while they were attempting to use the stolen credit cards in southwest Calgary along the Macleod Trail corridor. A female acquaintance was also present and is wanted for questioning.
The updated descriptions are as follows:
Suspect one: Light skin colour, approximately 5'9" - 6', medium build, short dark hair with unshaven facial hair, wearing a black hooded jacket with a small circular logo (possibly a skull) on the left arm, light coloured jeans, black and red ball cap with sunglasses, black Puma shoes with a white stripe. This suspect has been seen wearing a necklace with some kind of medallion, a black sweater with white skull and bones logo on the left chest and has rings on his left index and small finger.
Suspect two: Light skin colour, approximately 5'8" - 5'10", slim build, short dark hair, wearing a grey, white and black hooded sweat shirt, black hat with a white Puma logo on the front, light coloured jeans and white Puma shoes with a black stripe. This suspect has also been seen wearing a green hat with what appeared to be an embroidered "D" in the same colour green on the front.
