With the loss of the iconic Grandfather Tree, the Town has set up a special mailbox and a community journal near the historic White Spruce for Cochranites to share their stories and memories with others.
The initiative aims to honour the landmark, while also giving locals the chance to share their memories, stories, and reflections to help preserve the Grandfather Tree’s legacy for future generations.
The Town is also accepting new suggestions on how Cochrane can further commemorate the Grandfather Tree. For anyone looking to make suggestions, they can do so by emailing [email protected].
