Cochrane RCMP provided an update on a serious motor collision that took place in the early morning of Mar. 19.
At around 5:15 a.m., Cochrane RCMP was dispatched to a motor collision on Highway 1A, at the intersection of Mountain Ridge Place, east of Cochrane. It was determined that the driver of one of the vehicles, a 35-year-old male from Calgary, was deceased. Two occupants of the second vehicle were also seriously injured.
The scene has been cleared and traffic has resumed. The cause of the collision is still under investigation. The RCMP would like to give their condolences to the friends and family of the deceased.
