Commuters might have to prep for a detour next week.
In the coming days, the pathway beneath the Highway 1A bridges at Big Hill Creek will be closed for the demolition of the old bridge. A detour will be in place to ensure continued access.
The new Highway 22 bridge over the CPKC tracks is scheduled to open in stages, beginning the first week of December, weather permitting.
