Monarch Grooming a cut above the rest in 2024 Reader's Choice Awards

Monarch Grooming proved that their services are a cut above the rest by winning first place in the Eagle's Readers' Choice Award for Best Pet Grooming.

Monarch Grooming proved that it's truly a cut above the rest by winning gold in The Eagle’s Reader's Choice Award for the Best Pet Grooming.

Agnes Jenkins, owner of Monarch Grooming, said that she is very grateful for the community for their support.

“I’m really grateful of the people who nominated and voted for me,” Jenkins said. “It was a surprise, but it was a really good surprise.”

When asked about what makes their services unique, Jenkins explained that they provide a personalized experience for every hound that walks into their shop.

“We just do a lot of one-on-one with the dogs, and we take extreme pride in what we do,” she said.

As a small business owner in Cochrane, Jenkins said it is truly humbling to receive the award, adding that it makes her heart feel fulfilled. She outlines that Monarch will continue to provide the best dog grooming services in Cochrane.

“We’re just going to keep doing the best we can do every day, and try to build on that,” Jenkins said. “We’re going to keep doing seminars, trying to improve ourselves, and work with the community."

In closing, Jenkins said she would like to thank Jamie Lakoslay of Arftastic Dog Grooming, Connie Riches of Connie's Canine’s, and Heather Tarelton.

“I couldn’t have done this by myself, so I’d also like to thank the people that work here,” she said. “We all help each other and lift each other up. We are like a little community.”

Monarch Grooming offers its services by appointment only. For dog owners looking to schedule an appointment, they can do so by texting 403-835-6975.
