The Town of Cochrane is reporting that local fire services are responding to a significant fire at two homes under construction in Rivercrest.
The Town's Facebook page advises that: "Motorists and pedestrians are urged to avoid the area to ensure emergency personnel can access the site."
According to social media photos taken at the scene, the fire appears to be fully involved.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
