Cochrane's holiday spirit is just about to go on display, starting with the 40th anniversary of Cochrane Light Up on Saturday, November 23, from 4:30 to 7:30 pm in historic downtown, featuring hot chocolate, festive lights and entertainment for the whole family.
Town Council members will greet visitors at The Station with hot chocolate by the fire and a chance to explore activities waiting inside.
In celebration of 40 years of Cochrane Light Up, The Station will also be decorated with dazzling light displays. Those so inclined will be able to capture the moment by snapping a festive photo and tag @townofcochrane to share their experience.
Free COLT shuttles will run from Mitford Park and the Historical Ranche site to The Station starting at 4 pm and running every 20 minutes until 9 pm.
On Sunday, November 24 the Cochrane RancheHouse will host free photos (food bank donations accepted) with Santa from 9 am to 1 pm.
The Town of Cochrane is also encouraging residents to get into the holiday spirit by decorating their homes and participating in the community-wide celebration from December 1 to12.
