Things are moving a little slower on River Ave. bridge so that pedestrians can travel a little safer.
The Town of Cochrane announced the opening of a new pedestrian and bike lane, occupying a portion of the bridge, via its Facebook page on May 26.
With the addition of the lane, the Town has also changed the speed limit to 10 km/h.
"Please stay alert, treat each other with courtesy and respect, and share the space," reads the Facebook post.
