The Cochrane Chaos have officially punched their ticket into another AJFHL Championship Finals following their second consecutive sweep against the Calgary Titans on the weekend of Mar. 1.
The Chaos secured the top spot in the regular season with 27 wins and only three losses. During their run, the Chaos secured the most goals in both north and south divisions with 81 points.
Hot off their heels of winning round one against the Lethbridge Eagles, the Chaos kept their win streak alive for their best-of-two series against the Titans.
For game one, the Chaos dominated the Titans in a 5-0 victory at home in the SLS Centre. In game two that took place in Calgary on Mar. 2, a one-point lead in the first period was the deciding factor that led to their 4-3 victory.
Following their round two victory, the Chaos will be facing off once more against the Edmonton Wolves in a best-of-five series for the championship banner.
Last year, the Chaos made it all the way to the 2023-2024 AJFHL Championship Finals, but were swept by the in their series against the Edmonton Wolves.
Game 1 and 2 of the series will take place at the SLS Centre on Mar. 15 at 5 p.m. and Mar. 16 at 2:30 p.m.
