Keen-eyed patriots in town noticed the Cochrane Walmart in the Quarry mistakenly flying an upside-down Canadian Flag on Jan. 24.
In the Community of Cochrane Moms Facebook page, one user took a photo of the sign outlining that the flag can be seen waving upside-down.
Following the post, a photo of a sign at the front entrance outlined it was due to a broken flagpole.
“It has come to our attention that the flagpole has broken,” The sign read. “We are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. We apologize for [any] inconvenience caused.”
