Dust off your cowboy boots and prepare for another year of exciting stampede events happening all across town for Stampede. Here's all of the events happening this year to mark in your calendar:
Tomorrow, July 5, the Cochrane Toyota and Cochrane Dodge are hosting a pancake breakfast from 8:00 a.m until 11:00 a.m. Their event will include food, music, and fun taking place at 8 River Heights Dr.
Also happening tomorrow is the Royal LePage Benchmark Cochrane Pancake Breakfast, running from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at 504 1st West, their breakfast will include delicious food, great company, and a whole lot of fun.
On Saturday, July 6, the Cochrane Nissan Pancake breakfast is happening from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Cochrane Nissan at 7 River Heights Dr.
Same day will also be the 2024 Fireside Stampede Breakfast from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., on the north side of Central Park. Their breakfast will include pancakes, country music, plus fun and games for the whole family.
Also on this day, July 6, is the Generation Scuba Parking Lot BBQ From 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Generation Scuba on 240 River Ave. This BBQ will include hot dogs, smokies, and store discounts.
Same day will also see the Stampede Show at Rocky View Brewing at the Rocky View Taproom on 420 1st Street. Dan Badger will perform from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m ,The Buck Thorns at 7:30 p.m. , and DJ Marky Mark will play all day.
On Sunday, July 7, the Sunset Ridge Annual Stampede Breakfast is happening from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Trading Post parking lot. For their breakfast they will be hosting a petting zoo, face painting, live music, balloon artists, plus games and more.
Same day will also have the Brews & BBQ - Free family Stampede BBQ running from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 504 1st West. The event will include hotdogs, beer, street games, face painting, ponies from Pony Patrol, and DJ Marky Mark will be playing music all evening.
Coming into the week, the Water Valley Golf Course will host a stampede lunch on Tuesday, July 9, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The lunch will include live music from Red Deer’s Ten02 Music, plus for the price of $5 visitors can enjoy a burger with all of the toppings and drinks will be half price.
On Wednesday, July 10, the CochraneNow + Friends annual Stampede Breakfast runs from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the House of Cars Parking Lot. The breakfast will include free food, live music, plus prizes and more.
Also on that day will be the Stampede BBQ w/ Remax West, Arrowhead Vet Centre, and Coffee Traders from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on 2nd Ave W. The BBQ will include food, music and furry friends from the CAHS.
On Thursday, July 11, the Ramada Stampede Breakfast goes down from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Cochrane Ramada on 10 Westside Dr. To celebrate their grand reopening, their 2024 breakfast will include all of the breakfast food essentials, plus mimosas and a petting zoo.
Finally, on Friday, July 12, the Family BBQ with MLA Peter Guthrie will run from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 60 Railway St E. Hosted by your local MLA, the day will include food, lively music and other surprises.
