2024 Jacket Racket estimated to help around 1,000 locals

It is estimated that the 2024 Jacket Racket event at Cochrane Alliance Church on Oct. 19, supported around 1,000 locals in Cochrane and the surrounding area.

Cochrane Family and Community Support Services, alongside the Cochrane and Area Resource Network helped provided locals with gently used winter wear and Halloween costumes at the Jacket Racket event in the Cochrane Alliance Church on Oct. 19.

It is estimated that approximately 300 people stopped by the event, 200 of which were adults. It is estimated that the Jacket Racket will help and estimated 1,000 people in Cochrane and the surrounding area.

More information with more accurate data will be presented to council at their next regular meeting.
