When is somebody - presumably in Town Council - going to actually do something to address the nightmare that is traffic for Cochrane residents?
In the last six months traffic has been horrific. Between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. getting into town from Hwy 1 via Hwy 22 is a crawl. Often the traffic is backed up 3 kilometres from the intersection at Fireside Gate. If you ever had to get from Hwy 1 all the way through town to Sunset I’d bet you’re looking at 30 minutes minimum.
The Colt bus system will hardly put a dent in this problem. Nor will the bridge in Riviera.
Here’s a bright idea: STOP APPROVING DEVELOPMENT.
The Town’s infrastructure is so far behind the development that is going on. It blows my mind. All the while, my taxes keep going up.
Go figure.
