A few weeks ago I contacted Blake Richards (MP, Banff-Airdrie) for his position on Alberta having a rebate scheme for purchasers of electric vehicles. I asked if he agrees with it and at what level would he like to see it at. A simple enough question one might think.
Well, after having resent it to his MP's office and campaign offices repeatedly, it's pretty clear that Mr Richards is finding the question so hard to answer he won't even respond.
What are we the electorate supposed to do when we cannot get a straight answer from their MP to a straight (and repeatedly put) question? What does it say about an MP's values when they actively dodge issues from their own constituents?
What does Mr Richards have to hide?
