In 2013, the Cochrane Activettes established an annual bursary for $3500.00 to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the club. This year the club will be awarding two $3500.00 bursaries. This bursary is available to any student currently enrolled, or will be enrolling in a post secondary institution as of September 2024. Applicants must have graduated or will be graduating from a high school in Cochrane, be 21 years of age or younger as of June 1, 2024, have volunteered in some capacity within the Cochrane community, and are experiencing financial difficulty to further their education.
Although the club is very visible in the community by supporting local causes, we wish to make graduating students aware of this bursary.
