A staple to decide the best in the community is back in full swing with the return of the Cochrane Eagle’s 2023 Readers’ Choice awards.
Readers will once again have the chance to vote on a wide range of categories for different favorites in the community.
Voting starts on Sept. 11 and will run until Sept. 27, with winners being announced on both print and online on Oct. 19.
Voting can be completed online by visiting www.cochraneeagle.ca/cochrane-eagle-readers-choice/2023-awards.
Publisher for the Cochrane Eagle, Shaun Jessome, said the awards help recognize staple businesses, individuals, and organizations in the community with help from readers of The Eagle.
“Every year, the Eagle looks forward to giving our local readers the opportunity to recognize local businesses and organizations as some of the best the community has to offer,” Jessome said. “Vote early. Vote daily. Choose your best.”
With over 50 categories in this year’s contest, they are all divided into six different categories:
Body and Mind – Businesses that provide services ranging from physical to mental wellness
Food and Drink – The best places to dine for every occasion
Professionals – Lawyers, accountants, electricians, veterinarians, and more in the community.
Business and Service – Local businesses that have been supporting the community.
People and Places – Distinguished members and groups in the community.
Shopping – Best places to shop in Cochrane.
Readers must be 18 years of age or older to vote, and there is a limit of one vote per person, per category, per day.
