Netflix production crews were in Okotoks this week filming the coming-of-age drama "My Life with the Walter Boys".

Film crews are transforming Okotoks into Colorado for two days.

Netflix series My Life with the Walter Boys is filming scenes  at Okotoks' Holy Trinity Academy on Oct. 28 and 29.

The high school's football field donned the flags of the United States of America and the state of Colorado, with the Foothills backdrop mimicking Colorado's section of the Rocky Mountains.

The coming-of-age drama follows Jackie Howard, a Manhattan girl who is orphaned and forced to adjust to a different lifestyle after moving to small-town Colorado.

Season two of My Life with the Walter Boys, which has also filmed extensively in High River and other parts of Southern Alberta, is expected to wrap production on Nov. 15.

A release date for season two has yet to be announced.
