A total of 25,833 people voted at advanced polls in Airdrie-Cochrane last week.
Advance polls for the 45th general election were open on Easter weekend; Friday, April 18, Saturday, April 19, Sunday, April 20, and Monday, April 21, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day.
According to preliminary estimates, 7.3 million electors across Canada voted at advance polls in this general election. That's a 25 per cent increase from the 5.8 million valid votes cast at advance polls in the previous general election in 2021.
All together, 815,131 Albertans have already cast their ballots.
Out of the 343 ridings across Canada, Airdrie-Cochrane ranked 77th for most advanced votes cast.
The 2025 general election will be held Monday, April 28, 2025.
